Chelsie Nunn

TCTeeth

Bloated beef jerky.

Small women in a bowl.

Socks hung to dry.

Catapults.

Our brains are 3 pound compactors for the streaming chaos our sensing receptors swallow each day. My artwork likens to a visual poetry, portraying the strewn bits we perceive. I utilize layering, patterns, and emblematic icons to represent the maelstrom of information we process daily.

Chelsie Nunn received a BFA from the University of Tennessee in 2011 and a MS in art education from the University of Tennessee in 2012. She is currently an art educator for Knox County Schools.
